Meet our Elders

 Below are short biographical summaries of our Elders:

Josh2Josh Manley is the Senior Pastor of RAK Evangelical Church. Josh hails from the United States of America. He holds an M.Div. and ThM from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, U.S.A. During his seminary studies, Josh served as an elder at Third Avenue Baptist Church. Prior to entering preaching ministry Josh worked as an aide in the United States Senate. He is married to Jenny, and they have four children. Josh counts it a great joy to serve the people of RAK Evangelical Church through preaching and pastoral ministry and is thrilled by what God is doing in this place. sascha2Sascha Baer is the Assistant Pastor at RAK Evangelical Church. Sascha hails from Germany, but has spent most of his life in Central Asia, where his parents worked as Christian Aid Workers. He is married to Julia. They have two children. Sascha previously served on staff at the United Christian Church of Dubai. nigel2Nigel is from Northern Ireland but has lived and worked in the Arabian Peninsula since 2000. Nigel and Cheré married in 2004 and since then have been greatly encouraged by seeing God building His church in the region, including more recently in Ras Al Khaimah. Nigel, Cheré and their two sons moved to Ras Al Khaimah from Dubai in July 2014. They are delighted to be part of the great work God is doing here at this time.

 

 

 

Andrew's mug2Andrew was born and raised in the US, near Washington DC. Stephanie and Andrew have been married for over 5 years and met while studying in university. Andrew works as a Program Manager supporting businesses that operate in MENA. He enjoys reading God’s Word, being outdoors, and exploring new places. Andrew is excited about what the Lord is doing in and through RAK Evangelical Church and serving God's people in this place.
