We live in the freedom that Christ has won for us through his death and resurrection. We now have the gift of the Spirit who leads us and empowers us to holy living. We no longer need to gratify the sins of the flesh, but the Spirit produces good fruit of godly character in us. The life of the Christian is a life in step with the Holy Spirit.
